Ooey & Gooey

Hey happy Saturday! I wanted to share a recipe with you! I don't know if you've ever had Ooey Gooey Butter Cake, buuutt it is sooo goooodd!! This one in particular is Paula Deen's. She's been on my heart lately so I thought I'd make something of hers.  
 
 
 
Here's Paula's recipe!
 
Ingredients-
 
Cake;
 
1 18oz. pkg. yellow cake mix
1 egg
8 TBS. butter, melted
 
Filling;
 
1 8oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
8 TBS. butter, melted
1 16oz. box powdered sugar
 
Directions-
 
Preheat oven to 350.
 
Combine the cake mix, egg, and butter and mix well with an electric mixer. Pat the mixture into the bottom of a lightly greased 13 x 9 in. pan.
 
In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add the eggs, vanilla, and butter and beat together.
 
Next, add the powdered sugar and mix well. Spread over cake batter and bake for 40 minutes. Make sure not to over bake as the center should be a little gooey.
 
 
After it cools, I like to sprinkle some powdered sugar over the top, it just makes it look pretty.
