You sparkle

Good morning! How are you today on this chilllyy Saturday morning? I have something that will warm you up just a little ;) It's my turn over at the Marion Smith Designs Blog, and I made this wintery layout of my adorable niece Kassidy using the Garment District line and a white resin rose from Marion Smith!

 

I also used some other products I had on hand like papers by Fancy Pants Designs, some polka dot vellum, Thickers, and some Papertrey Ink snowflake dies cut out with white sparkly paper!

 

I used Marion's new white resin rose, isn't it gorgeous? They have new gigantor ones coming soon, I cannot wait to play with them! 

 

Make sure you get your hands on some of this Garment District Line before it's gone, it is so beautiful!

I Love This Girl

Hello there! I can't believe I haven't blogged in so long I am so sorry lol! What's up with it already being Thanksgiving ahhhh!!!!! Are you all ready for the holidays?! I am so not ready SO READY!! I love this time of year ;) I like that it's chilly outside so I can feel less guilty about being in my scrap studio haha!! I actually just dug into my new stash of Crate Paper products by Maggie Holmes! Here's my layout;

 

This is my niece at her 4th birthday party, she was bringing me my princess party favor, I was so excited ;) She's got this cute little smirk on her face I just love her!

 

 

Isn't this a great collection?! So cute! I love the bright colors and it so suits her personality! I also used the new Dear Lizzy rose embellies, glittery Thickers, October Afternoon letter stickers, and some of my favorite MME washi tape!

 

Can't wait to create more cuteness with this line!

Scrapfest 2013

It's Friday baby woohooo!! I cannot believe it's already been a week since I was partaying it up at Scrapfest! My mom and I went and had an absolute blast! I have so many pictures to share but for now I'm just going to share a layout with you. So at the Archiver's store at the Mall Of America where Scrapfest is held, they had all of the brand spankin new Heidi Swapp products including the new Color Shine and her new amazing line called "Mixed Company!" Sooo you could say I completely loaded up my basket grabbed a few things. It was so much fun to see Heidi and Maggie Massey! They are the sweetest! I am going to do a memory file of our weekend but I had to get my fix with the new products so I created this layout; (I literally started fussy cutting flowers in the car on the way home lol!)

 

Aren't these colors delicious?! This is the prettiest line and plus the new Color Magic matches perfectly!

The bow is a die cut from My Favorite Things;

 

I am kind of a freak about wings, I know that's kind of weird but I love putting them on people lol! Aren't they beautiful though? They are in the new Color Magic Ephemera, you get a ton of pieces to play with!

 

And of course some fussy cutting; 

 

Here are some of the new ephemera butterfly pieces from the Mixed Company line matched up with a silver glittery tag from Michael's and a new Color Magic Frame that was sprayed with Coral & Blush Color Shines;

Follow Your Bliss

Good morning paper peeps!! What a beautiful Sunday morning! We have been so blessed here lately with beautiful weather, it's absolutely gorgeous. The dudes are starting school Friday already I cannot believe it! Where did summer go? I already miss my new roses so much that I did a layout with them using the new beautiful line by Prima called "Anna Marie." The colors are just stunning!

 

Can you believe I didn't use one actual flower or doily?! (Just a stencil that looked like one so ha!) All of the flowers on this page are fussy cut. Talk about a fussy cut freak.

Text Me Gram!!

Good morning!! What a beautiful day!! Ahh there's nothing like waking up to the cat laying on the whole length of your arm for so long that you cant feel your arm anymore.. So awhile back my mom and niece and I went on a holiday for a weekend, we had so much fun! But I swear everytime I turned around at least one of them was texting. I'm like what are you doing?! You're going to spend time with me and LIKE IT!! lol It turned out to be a big joke and I promised them that I'd document it and not let them forget it, so here it is ladiesss!!

 

Have you guys seen this line by Carta Bella?!?! It is called Hello Again and it is sooo cute!! The colors are delish! I am so hooked on the navy blue and coral right now!!

 

 

Isn't that fun?! I smeared some gesso on the background where I wanted it and then used a Heidi Swapp polka dot stencil over top with a 2 different paints. It turned out pretty cute.

Also those are her aqua letters that spell out "text." Also, in the Hello Again collection there is a paper that is covered in quotation marks so I fussy cut some and used them as page corners!

 

 

Don't you love those little gold glitter dots? They are SEI and I picked them up at a store in Downers Grove called Memories & Beyond.

The Butterfly Show

Happy Saturday! How are you on this glorious summer day?! This summer is absolutely flying by! I have a fun page to share with you today, it's for the My Minds Eye July Sketch Challenge! I scrapped two pictures of my darling niece, Kassidy. She is the sweetest most spirited girl, I just love her! I bought her these purple butterfly wings to wear, and she likes to wear them while prancing around their table on the deck singing, "It's the Butterfly Show! It's the Butterfly Show!" They're not the best quality pictures due to the shadowy deck, but I can't see not documenting a precious memory due to a photo that's not "the perfect lighting" or something. Okay, so here's the sketch;
