All About Baby

Hey papercrafting peeps! There's a new challenge over at Use It Tuesday, and the theme is All About Baby! I dug out some of my old baby boy supplies from when the boys were babies, and made a card;

I lovvvve stars and clouds! Super cute! This was a very simple card, but it still has some 3d goodness goin on ;) I used stickles to line the edges of the clouds to add some oomph. This came at a very good time actually because someone close to me just had a baby, and I was fortunate enough to take some pics at the hospital, and out of all of them, this one is my favorite;

Isn't that funny?! I love baby feet they're sooo cute! Look at all those wrinkles! lol

So get out your baby supplies and play along in the challenge, you know you have some baby stuff somewhere in your stash!

Have an awesome day and thanks for stoppin by!

A Better Place To Be

Hey beloved! Just a quick post today, wanted to share a Valentine's Day card with ya'll. I truly love this holiday, it's just so sweet. Especially being a paper crafter, everything is so pretty and pink and red, ruffley and rosey..doilies everywhere ;) looovve it! This time around I was playing with some paper products by Echo Park, super cute!

Do you have someone in your life that makes the world around you a better place? I am very blessed to say that I do have a few ;) It's amazing how someone can impact the world around you, especially in a positive way! Do you ever think about how you impact other people? Even if it's just something little, do something to make someone's day. Just by saying hi to a person or even simply just giving them a smile can make such a difference! What is that saying? If someone doesn't have a smile, give them yours? Here lets try it;

;)

Did it work?! YYeeeessss!!!!

Have a great day loves!

Anyhoo, over at Pixie Dust Paperie they have the new challenge for February going, and the theme is "The Land Of Fairy Tales." Now, I gotta tell ya, this was defenitely a challenge for me! I have 2 boys so I literally didn't have 1 thing fairy tale-ish, so I totally had to wing it! Here's the picture to use for inspiration;

Pretty picture, right? But wow I gotta admit I was a little stumped....what to make what to make....then I stumbled upon my cute little frog die cut from The Butterfly Garden line by Pink Paislee...and BAM! If I threw a crown on the little guy he'd be the freekin frog prince! Oh yeaahhh!!! Sooo here's my card sportin the little fella, waitin for his smoochie...

Just chillin on his pad...

Waitin for his lady..

I love this soft green flower, so pretty...

Vintage Valentine

Hey loves! What a beautiful Sunday! Are you doing anything for the Super Bowl? I'm going to my mamas. I'm not very passionate about football, at all, but something I am passionate about is when my mom says, "Hey I'm going to bribe you to come over to enjoy some of my amazing chicken cacciatore from scratch made with love," then yes. I will totally celebrate some Super Bowl. Yesterday my mom and I went into this beautiful little boutique with all kinds of neat little curiosities, and a few things that caught my eye were these vintage little valentines. My mom picked one up, softly ran her fingers over the glittery ribbon that ran across the front, and whispered "Aww these remind me of when I was a kid.." Sooo I just had to make her one. ;) I got this idea to put her parents' wedding picture on it so I went and color copied one of the few she has and got to work! I just wanted to use creamy supplies.

It killed me not to layer and layer, but I really wanted the focus to be on the picture, it just really captures how happy they were, doesnt it? So romantic.
Here's the other side;

I absolutely love creamy colored flowers because they look like whipped cream ;) This one is from Michaels. So pretty. Some other supplies I used are;

music paper & creamy seam binding; Etsy
doily; craft supply
glitter; Martha Stewart
frame; Jolees
leaves; Prima
little angel; Frost It Pink store
silver sticker letters; EK Success I think?

I also added a heart dangly that I took off of a charm bracelet;

I love hanging trinkets off of artsy pieces. I think Im going to make a card and a layout with this picture of them. I love it! It is so worth remembering! To celebrate life.

Thank you so much for stoppin in. Have an amazing day loves.

xoxo Rah

XO

Good evening angels! Hows the creative life? I had to cut my work day short, poor Kyle got sick at school today and had to come home early. I feel so bad when the boys get sickie, I feel so helpless! But with some snugglin and some mommy xxx's and ooo's, he'll be back to normal in no time ;) I especially love when the boys walk into my room in the middle of the night, whispering "Mom! Mom! I think I'm gonna thr-bbbbbllllllaaaaaaaggghghhhhhh!" All over the carpeting. Thennnn they go back to bed while we're left scrubbing the floor, awake, NOT snuggling in bed. "Kyle, your room is literally right next to the bathroom, why would you make your way alllll the way down the hallway to my room silly?" Sound familiar? Ahh the joys of motherhood. ;) I wouldnt trade it for anything in the world though, I love them sooo much! Speaking of xxx's and ooo's, here's a super simple card I made with an adorable embellishment from K & Company.

I love finding cute embellishments for cards, its a good thing to have if you need a quick card! Some other supplies Iused;
patterned paper; MME, Jillibean
cardstock; Stampin Up!
heart edge punch; Martha Stewart
heart circle die; Spellbinders

Also if you're looking for more inspiration, head over to The Create Blog and see a ton of cute cards! Lots of good ideas!

Okay peeps my eyes are getting heavy so Im gonna hit the hay. Thanks for hangin out, it means alot to me! Love you guys!
