Vintage Valentine

Hey loves! What a beautiful Sunday! Are you doing anything for the Super Bowl? I'm going to my mamas. I'm not very passionate about football, at all, but something I am passionate about is when my mom says, "Hey I'm going to bribe you to come over to enjoy some of my amazing chicken cacciatore from scratch made with love," then yes. I will totally celebrate some Super Bowl. Yesterday my mom and I went into this beautiful little boutique with all kinds of neat little curiosities, and a few things that caught my eye were these vintage little valentines. My mom picked one up, softly ran her fingers over the glittery ribbon that ran across the front, and whispered "Aww these remind me of when I was a kid.." Sooo I just had to make her one. ;) I got this idea to put her parents' wedding picture on it so I went and color copied one of the few she has and got to work! I just wanted to use creamy supplies.

It killed me not to layer and layer, but I really wanted the focus to be on the picture, it just really captures how happy they were, doesnt it? So romantic.
Here's the other side;

I absolutely love creamy colored flowers because they look like whipped cream ;) This one is from Michaels. So pretty. Some other supplies I used are;

music paper & creamy seam binding; Etsy
doily; craft supply
glitter; Martha Stewart
frame; Jolees
leaves; Prima
little angel; Frost It Pink store
silver sticker letters; EK Success I think?

I also added a heart dangly that I took off of a charm bracelet;

I love hanging trinkets off of artsy pieces. I think Im going to make a card and a layout with this picture of them. I love it! It is so worth remembering! To celebrate life.

Thank you so much for stoppin in. Have an amazing day loves.

xoxo Rah
