Happy Puppy

Hayyyy!!! How are you?! I'm good! We actually got some real snow here today, finally. I can't believe it! Here I am all ready for spring annnnd WAMMO! We get a snow storm. I had such a wonderful day today though! The boys school day got cancelled, so I called into work and stayed home with them. I actually got to wake them up to the aroma of cinnamon rolls baking in the oven, it was such a blessing. I love simple little pleasures like this! 

Over at the Prima blog, they had a sketch for the February Build-A-Page, which looked a little like this;




I didn't submit it for the contest but I did play along just for fun, and this is what I came up
with;

 

 

I used the fabulous new Prima line by Finnabair called "Sunrise & Sunset." It doesn't really look like it but there are soo many layers on this thing! I tried out this new gorgeous Prima stencil and paired it up with Heidi Swapps new Color Shine in Georgia Peach, Mustard, and Gold Lame. The whole layout has this gorgeous shimmery shine to it, it's so pretty! Super super fun!! There is mist and stamping all over the place! ;) I'm not gonna be scared to try techniques anymore, I'm just gonna go for it!!

 

You should too! Go try something that you're not used to. Go break out those cool artsy products that you've been sneakin peeks at because you're too scared to use them! Just have fun gettin messy for awhile, and I promise you'll feel so inspired to create, you won't be able to stop!!
