Courage

Happy Thursday! Have you all checked out Waltzingmouse Stamps? They have amazing stamp sets! I only recently discovered them so I only have a few sets, but I saw Back in the Saddle and I had to have it soooo now you can say Im hooked on this company. Recently a friend of ours retired who is a bit of a "cowboy" so I created this card for him using a stamp about courage.

I stamped a 7 gypsies tag and added the torn off top of a distressed tag, and paired that up with a photo from a collage sheet. I wanted to make the horse pop kinda so I cut his little hooves out :) This is such a great stamp I love it! It takes courage to retire dont you think? Thats kind of a huge thing! All those years interacting with people, being in some sort of a routine...hopefully someday I can retire! Can you imagine how much scrapping one could get done holy moly!?

CR84FN Color Challenge

Hey there! 2 posts in one day? Thats crazy talk! This is my first time entering a card for the CR84FN Color Challenge. The colors are so summery I love them! When I saw them Kitsch from The Girls Paperie popped in my mind. Looovve it! Here's the colors;

MME Blog Card Challenge # 23

Goooood morrrrrning! What a beautiful day!  Hopefully you are enjoying it as much as I am. There's nothing like snuggling on the couch with the boys and a Batman blanky! ;) I have a card to show you that I made for the My Minds Eye Blog Card Challenge # 23. My Minds Eye has so much fun new product out! Tons of bright and beautiful colors and one of my favorite things in the world, cupcakes! I adore these fluffy little pieces of heaven..topped with sugary sweet creamy whipped goodness...just cant get enough of them! So when I saw a cupcake diecut and patterned paper with cupcakes I couldnt wait to make cards with them!

So here's what I came up with;

Well I hope you like it! I think it'd make someone smile, yes? I included this side view so you could get a glimpse of the Stickles location, I mean this is serious stuff. You just cant have a cupcake card and no sparklys right? Word!

Bee-Utiful Day

Wow its 80 somethin degrees out! It is sooooo nice! I sat outside for a bit when I woke up and saw one of these little fuzzy guys;

I have always been in awe of these little creatures. They are always so busy! Of course when youre growing up you never think of how amazing they really are, you even so much as hear one buzz by your head and you head for the hills with arms flailing about. But a  few years back I read something about them bee-coming extinct and I was like, huh? Thatd bee awful! How could that bee? Okay okay Ill stop. But really they impact the earth so much I never even realized it! Sooo since then I have made it a point to stop and watch them through my zoom lens and try to appreciate them a little more. They really do ignore you if you just let them do their thing its crazy. Its funny how when you're artsy fartsy you can find inspiration in even the tiniest of things, yes? I recently made a purchase at Red Lead of some bee-inspired products, so Im going to play with them tonite so we'll see what I can come up with..

One last thing, I want to thank Cosmo Cricket and Cards Magazine for picking me as the winner of their challenge to be in Cards magazine. I am soooo excited! That's awesome! There were so many beautiful entries I cant believe it! Although it is truly easy to make cute things with Cosmo Crickets products because they are already sooo amazing!

Moxie Fab Tissue Paper Magic

Good morning peeps! What a gorgeous day! Ive been on nights so I should really be sleeping right now buuuutttt who needs sleep anyway? The Glitz Design Blog Challenge #1 has ended, and I just want to say thank you to the Glitz girls for picking me to be in the top 5! Ill be honest I was quite shocked that I got picked, there are some amazing projects there! There is a new challenge so Im defenitely gonna hit that one up! You should too!

So about this Moxie Fab World Tissue Paper Magic. They have a challenge going on right now to incorporate tissue paper in a project, and I thought Id enter my Mother's Day card that my momma will get tomorrow so I hope she doesnt look at my blog til then...

For my entry I just made a ruffle lining inside my library pocket/gift card holder. I grabbed this new Martha Stewart line of paper that is soooooo adorable and anything that has to do with strawberries Im all over it like my son on a 10pc. chicken mcnugget with honey. I figured Id throw in some tags for some substance and maybe I can get away with not buying a gift card...just kidding! I freekin love my momma.

I think this is like the girliest thing Ive ever made! I love the colors and the berries! You go Martha, you big animal!

Get Your Glitz On

Good morning! Happy Wednesday! I mentioned a few days back about a little project I was working on. Well, it was a mini book for the Glitz Design Blog, they have a challenge going on now called "Get Your Glitz On" where you can submit any project you've made with any of their beautiful products. Their new lines are absolutely stunning and Laced With Grace is defenitely my fave! I love making mini albums because you can use a whole line at once right?  And the cool thing about Glitz is that all of their lines contain so many gorgeous elements sometimes you can mix and matchem, yes? Soooo here's what I came up with, Ill just put all of the pix up so I apologize if theres too many! :} My inspiration was how blessed I have felt lately, how faithful the Lord is in his provision, even when I dont deserve it. He's alllllways there. I love him!

I love taking different shaped pages from different mini albums that I buy and creating mixed up pages,  I think it makes it so interesting to look at. This book is already loaded and I havent even added any pictures to it yet! Ah well.  This challenge was alot of fun and there are so many beautiful entries wow!
