Cookies & Cream

Hey darlins! Did you know that the Oreo cookie was introduced in 1912?! Which makes March 6th the 100th birthday of the Oreo woohoo! I think that's going to call for a celebration! I love love these cookies, these round little morsels of heaven...dipped ever so carefully into a glass of ice cold milk...juusst long enough to soak up the refreshingly cool goodness but not long enough to lose half of your cookie?.. Ahh yes... simple pleasures ;) In honor of these little delights I created a Valentines Day card, very non-traditional colors but delicious just the same ;)

Isnt it scrumptious?! I seriously want to eat it!

Mouthwatering..
I know what you're thinking..."Didnt she put a bow in the lower right hand corner of the last card she made?!" Nah Im just kiddin but if you use your imagination, this creamy little rose almost looks like a fluffy tuft of whipped cream, yes? Heavenly. Here are some other ingredients;

patterned paper; Pink Paislee, Making Memories
brown velvet ric rac; MME
plaid ribbon; Making Memories
chocolate chip cardstock; Stampin Up!
creamy rose & brown flower; Maya Road
buttons; Papertrey Ink
sentiment rub on; American Crafts
circle die; Spellbinders
scallop punch; Stampin UP!

Thank you so much for hangin out and indulging ;) Love you all!

No.1 Sweetness

Hello my lovelies! Did you have a creative weekend? I am finding it rather difficult to find some happy time in my studio lately, actually it's been pretty freekin impossible! But. I actually got to spend a little time in there last night wooohoooo! I absolutely love Valentines Day, everything is so pretty and about love hellloo!  Sooo I decided to play along in the challenge over at The Create Blog, to create a card and use at least 6 hearts, fun right?! Here's my take;

I've built the card on a glassine envelope which I plan on filling with red pixie sticks, but I didnt have them yet sooo I improvised with a spray of glittery red hearts ;)

I found this darling red felt cupid at Hobby Lobby, isnt he cute?

Aannnnndddd more heart punches ;)

I love the Maya Road heart pins! I did bling them up a bit with some red glitter though, you know me I just cant leave anything alone! ;) Lets see, the other products I used are; felt flower by K&Company, hearts paper by American Crafts, clear sweetness piece by Pink Paislee, red glitter cardstock and rhinestones, doily, and glassine envelope are crafty supply, scallop punch and red cardstock by Stampin UP!, and the ribbon by Making Memories. I think that about does it? Hope you like it, it's super fun and it was made with love. ;)

Have a good evening peeps, love you all! Go play!

Love You

Hey there! How are you on this beautiful day?! Have you all been watching the CHA sneak peeks all over the place? Wow. There is sooo much cute stuff coming out! Cant wait it's like torture! But that means we get to use the amazing products we already have right? So here's a fun way to do that! Go on over to the Use It Tuesday Blog and play along in the next challenge! This time around the theme is All About Love, and remember it's all about using products you have in your stash! Soo Ive had this line by My Minds Eye forrrrever, and I loved it so much I didn't want to use it lol! I chose to do a layout of my niece. I know I've used this picture on a layout before, but I couldnt resist! I just love candid black & white shots when you get the persons "real" smile. And plus I can give this layout to her mom as a Valentine ;) Here's the layout;

I used a white library pocket from Bazzill that Ive had in my stash for a few years. Ive been goin to town with my heart punches lately I love them!! I wanted to make it look like they were "spilling" out of the pocket ;)

I really love this line! I am really happy I finally broke down and used it. I need to stop bein such a hoarder and hanging onto things instead of using them! Why do we do that?! Just another saga in "Scrap-Land." ;)

So hop on over there and play! Remember to "use it" sister!

Pixie Post

Hey peeps! I wanted to show you my whole project that I made for the Pixie Dust Paperie blog challenge, my first project as a design team member woohoo!! I dont have many decorations for Valentine's Day, and I wanted to create something that I could hang in my scrap studio. It's always nice to have a little inspiration, yes? So here it is;

Super shabby! I stumbled across this vintage rhinestone pin in an antique store, you could say I pretty much flipped. I love it! I've never seen one like it! I knew I wanted to use it on a special project, and I just felt like this was it. And I can always take it off of here and use it on something else, I'd really like to put it in a little frame or something...hmmm....and those flowers by Prima are sooo pretty and girly! Here are a few more ingredients;

wooden wings; Kaisercraft
crown; Melissa Frances
white craft paint
stickles; (stardust)
doily & beaded chain; craft supply
collage sheet image; Shabby Cottage Studio
Spellbinders die
silver glittered letters; K & Company
amazingly gorgeous patterned paper; MME
white lace on bottom ruffle; Websters Pages
white blossom trim on bottom; Maya Road
pink eyelet trim & pink beaded trim on bottom ruffle; Hobby Lobby

I hope you like it! Thank you for hangin with me, have a wonderful evening!

I must say, it feels good to use something that Ive been holding on to! Who knew?! I feel like I should be paying the gals at Use It Tuesday for built in therapy hahaha! This is the perfect team for me to be on! Buutt for me to get through all my stash they're gonna have to have me on their team for ohhhhh about FOREVER?! I used a Spellbinder die to cut the dark blue snowflake paper in the background, and Ive seriously had that paper for 10 years. 10. Its a sickness ladies, work with me here.

New Years Day!

Happy New Year's Day!! Did you make it to midnight last night? The dudes and I kind of cheated a bit, we had our sparkling grape juice toast when New York's ball dropped, because theirs is an hour earlier than ours hahaha! I can't believe we made it that far! I've never really been the type to go out on New Years, would rather just spend it with my family. The boys and I had a wonderful evening together, we sat by the Christmas tree and looked through tubs (literally tubs) of old pictures, talking about all kinds of old memories.  It was so fun! I am so thankful that I got to spend a whole 'nother year with them, I cherish every day I get to be with them.

So I decided to play along in the City Crafter Challenge Blog challenge this round. It's theme was "Make The Cut." I love fussy cutting! Well, not exactly at the time of the actual cutting per-say, but the finished product is usually nice! lol Here's my take;

Super fun & bright card! Love the colors, happy happy! The friends dimensional sticker, green sparkly paper, and the die cut behind sticker are Anna Griffin. Patterned paper is October Afternoon and Girls Paperie, paper punch is Martha Stewart. The fussy cut flowers are cut from October Afternoon paper.

I hope you have a wonderful day!
